Overnight Bridge Deck Repairs on I-395 Southbound from I-90
Work will take place from 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 7th through 5 a.m. Friday morning, July 8th
AUBURN- The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing bridge deck repairs for the I-395 southbound ramp that carries traffic from I-90. The I-90 ramp to I-395 southbound will be closed and additionally the ramp from I-395 southbound to Route 20 westbound will be closed and traffic will be directed to follow the detour signage in place. Work is scheduled for overnight starting at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2022, and continuing through 5:00 a.m. on Friday July 8.
During the work the traffic impacts will be as follows:
* Overnight on Thursday, July 7, between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. the following morning, the I-90 ramp to I-395 southbound will be closed and traffic will be directed to follow the detour signage in place and use I-290 eastbound.
* Overnight on Thursday, July 7 between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. the following morning, the I-395 southbound exit 11B off-ramp to Route 20 westbound will be closed and traffic will be directed to follow the detour signage and use exit 11A.
Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.
Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
