[ARCHIVED] Governor Baker - Update on Mask Usage 05/01/2020

Please be advised that Governor Charlie Baker issued an Order today, May 1st, (Covid-19 Order #31) requiring face coverings in public places where social distancing is not possible.  The Order applies to everyone over the age of 2.  The Order becomes effective next Wednesday, May 6th.

Violations may be subject to a civil fine of up to $300 per violation of the Order.

In addition to compliance with this Order, we urge all residents to continue to practice other measures including frequent hand washing, sanitizing surfaces and social distancing.  For more information on Covid-19 and resources available, visit the Town’s website at
