Public Services

The Department of Public Services, which is directly overseen by the Town Manager who serves as the director of the Department, provides programs and services for the residents and property owners of Auburn. This includes:

  • Promoting the health and welfare of the senior citizens of Auburn and operating a senior center
  • Maintaining and operating a library
  • Supporting and honoring our veterans
  • Providing local cable access television services for the Town

Veteran Services

The Department of Veterans’ Services oversees the Commonwealth’s veterans public assistance program, which provides financial, medical, and service benefits to qualified veterans and their dependents. This office also offers assistance and referrals in the areas of federal compensation and pensions, state and federal educational benefits, tax exemptions, annuities, home loans, counseling and job training.
